Knitted love.

Winter is upon us and it's the time when all you want to do is rug up with a knitted blanky and a cup of tea! I am not usually a winter person at all, but this year I am already loving the cold weather! (I think it might be the fact that I am pregnant..) These are some beautiful images I have collected on my Pinterest boards.

Lauren Moffatt

I know this is last season but I love this Lauren Moffatt Fall range. Lately have been thinking lots about winter fashion, and can't wait until I can wear normal clothes again..

Conversations with Creative Women

I feel a bit behind, but I have only just discovered this book. I recently read about it in the latest Extra Curricular Mag, and was inspired by the story behind it. It was written by Tess McCabe of Creative Women's Circle which is based in Melbourne.
I am a bit jealous of Melbourne, as they have such great initiatives like CWC and a great support network for makers and artists, makes me wonder what we can do too here in Sydney..
So after reading about the self publishing story, I had to grab a copy, of course.. and it has just arrived. I am looking forward to getting stuck into some of these conversations with lots of creative types I already really admire! I love how they are just short snippets of creative women's lives (my type of reading!)
Also I love the title page artworks and the look/feel of the book. Always appreciate a well designed & curated book! Here are some of the pages..

I am still here.. just!

Oh dear me, where did March & April go?! Can I just say it's been non stop crazyness for us. The recent Melbourne Markets were huge.. huge turnout, huge amount of work, and just well huge..

We were blown away with the result but also absolutely exhausted.. ironically I didn't even attend! Was way too pregnant to travel so I had to watch on the side line.

Well I am feeling pretty bad for abandoning this little blog, but at the same time, there has been good reasons so! I am very close to due date, and I have a massive to do list to get through this week, but then I plan to spend some time relaxing and preparing for baby T to arrive.

Here are some recent updates from my Instagram of life recently! I will try and schedule a few more interesting posts this week :)

Life is busy, but good.

So I fell behind a bit with the 'one post' a week goal, but that's ok. Things have been pretty busy and non-stop for the past few weeks.

With 9 weeks to go for baby T to arrive, I have been trying to prepare lots so I can have some time off to welcome her into the world. It's all getting a bit more surreal now that I am getting close to the 60 day countdown. I am getting very big, and very curious to meet this little girl.

Last week I got spoilt with these amazing little handmade booties, and floral bib by the lovely Jodie from Whiskers Lane. I can't wait to see some tiny little feet in them..

Kiddo art.

Was lovely to spend this afternoon nesting a bit, cot and shelves are now set up and looking very empty.. I am sure it won't be long until I am overtaken with baby paraphernalia!
Have been looking at vintage inspired children's artworks, here are some faves..
